Albert’s AP® Physics C: Mechanics multiple choice questions (located in the
Practice tab) are organized in accordance with the College Board’s
Course and Exam Description into the following units:
Themes
- Unit 1: Kinematics
- Unit 2: Force and Translational Dynamics
- Unit 3: Work, Energy, and Power
- Unit 4: Linear Momentum
- Unit 5: Torque and Rotational Dynamics
- Unit 6: Energy and Momentum of Rotating Systems
- Unit 7: Oscillations
Topics
Each theme contains a range of specific topics. For example, here are some topics within Linear Momentum:
- 4.1 | Linear Momentum
- 4.2 | Change in Momentum and Impulse
- 4.3 | Conservation of Linear Momentum
Assessments
In addition to our practice guide, AP® Physics C: Mechanics includes Unit Assessments and Full-Length Practice Exams that include questions unique from those on our practice guide. Unit assessments cover one unit of study and are designed to be used throughout the school year. Full-length practice exams mimic the exam format of the full-length AP exam. We are currently updating our assessments to coordinate with the recent exam revisions.
Free Response Questions
AP® Physics: Mechanics includes the four types of free response questions found on the AP exam:
- Mathematical Routines
- Translation Between Representations
- Experimental Design and Analysis
- Qualitative/Quantitative Translation
We are currently updating our free response questions to coordinate with the recent exam revisions.
