Carroll Independent School District is a “top ten” rated district in Southlake, Texas. Carroll's secondary education is split with 9th and 10th graders attending Carroll High School, and 11th and 12th graders attending Carroll Senior High.
The district is one of the largest in the state of Texas to earn the top rating of "exemplary" by the Texas Education Agency. A couple statistics that stand out about this particular district:

AP® teachers at Carroll Senior high had heard about Albert before and they wanted to know more. They looped in the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Gina Peddy, who was equally intrigued.
Given the high performing nature of Carroll ISD, rarely do teachers feel the need to change what they are already doing everyday. Peddy admits many supplements they have tried in the past don't reach the level of rigor that they know students deserve.
From there, they agreed to give it a go and pilot Albert. The initial goal was to help students and teachers to become familiar. Peddy intended it to be a resource for AP®, but also wondered in the back of her mind, if Albert would also be the ACT®/SAT® prep tool they had been looking for.
The Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction was amazed at how quickly Albert took off, and across such a wide variety of subjects at that. Some teachers used it in the classroom, some outside of the classroom.
“Closer to the end of the pilot month, we actually started having parents asking if they could purchase it! Then I had students emailing me- I’m at the district level so they had to do some digging- saying ‘this is so valuable, we really want it’.”
Given Carroll's extensive course offering, Albert turned out to be that one-stop supplemental solution the district needed to support the entire Carroll ISD community. It was truly the perfect fit!
Carroll ISD finished the pilot strong and decided to license every student in the district with Albert. They saw the value in not only the AP® curriculum, but in the on level subjects as well.
