Welcome to Albert's Economics course!

Albert's Economics course is organized by content themes and further broken down into topics. Each theme covers a major concept in Economics and is further broken down into topics within that that major concept.

-Fundamental Economic Concepts - supply, Demand, and Market Equilibrium - Trade and Specialization - Market Structure and Competition - Money, Banking, and Financial Markets - Economic Growth and Decline - The Role of Government - Economics in Context

Each theme contains a range of specific topics. For example, here are the topics within Theme 1 - Fundamental Economic Concepts

Albert's Economics course also includes two FRQs for each theme: - A Stimulus-Based Question that allows students to practice responding to question based on data analysis - An open-ended question requiring to take and defend a position on an economic concept or problem

All Albert questions are aligned to state standards relevant to the subject matter as well as the Voluntary National Content Standards in Economics

This standards-alignment provides another easy way to find useful questions besides the Theme and Topic organization. Using the Standards button at the top left corner of any subject page, you can filter for just your state’s standard set then simply search for your state’s standards to find all questions in our course library aligned to that standard! For more details, please see this article in our Help section.

In addition to searching by the standards’ names, you can also search by their content! Simply type in a few words from the standard description to see all relevant standards pertaining to that content.

Albert’s Economics course includes two types of tags, Content tags and Question Style tags. These are words or phrases that provide information about what a question covers, such as opportunity-cost, or the way the content is covered, such as economic-vocabulary. Tags provide another easy way to search for relevant content in our course library. Simply search using the Tags button at the top left corner of any guide level. All tags are a word or short phrase, connected by dashes

In addition to standards, each question is assigned one or more tags to help differentiate between the wide variety of questions we offer. Here is a list of all the types of tags currently included in our Economics content:
