Subject Organization

Albert's Regents Algebra II course is organized into themes and further broken into short, formative assessments, and full-length assessments.

Themes

Our full Regents Algebra II subject guide includes three themes of different practice materials:
  • Topic Quizzes
  • Practice Exams
  • Released Exams

Topics Quizzes

Our topic quiz theme(s) contains a set of short, formative topic quizzes. Each topic quiz is designed to be given in a single class period. The quiz questions mimic the rigor and format of the actual exam. For example, here are some topic quizzes within the theme:
  • Topic Quiz | Properties of Rational Exponents
  • Topic Quiz | Solve Rational and Radical Equations
  • Topic Quiz | Polynomial Factors, Zeros, and Remainder Theorem
  • Topic Quiz | Polynomial Identities

Practice and Released Exams

Our practice exam theme has full-length practice exams that are unique to Albert. Each practice exam section mimics the exact style, rigor, and structure of the actual exam. Our released exams are replicas of released Regents exams from previous years.

Using Standards and Tags to Find Questions

Standards

Every question is aligned to the standards outlined in the New York State Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards (or New York State P-12 Common Core Learning Standards, where relevant). Each standard begins with the state abbreviation "NY".
You can find questions aligned to learning standards using our standards search tool. In the Standards drop-down at the top of the Assessments tab, you can search for standards by name (for example, NY GEO-G.CO.13) or description. When you type in characters that match one of the standards, the drop-down will populate with matching standards.

Tags

In addition to standards, each question is assigned one or more tags to help differentiate between the wide variety of questions we offer. These tags are a word or phrase that indicates the content of that question, with all words lower-case and multiple word tags connected by a hyphen. For example, “logarithm” or “conditional-probability”.
To search for a tag, click the Tags drop-down within the subject and enter the tag or content you're searching for in the search bar.
